Placement Support Worker – Lancaster / Flyde

The role of the Placement Support Worker is to be proactively involved in the support of foster carers, through direct work with children placed and birth children. The post holder must work in partnership with agency Social Workers to work within the child’s care plan and network to provide additional services for the child. You will be joining a committed team of social workers and placement support workers with high ethical standards and a commitment to best childcare practice. You will receive monthly supervision, annual appraisals, a realistic caseload and opportunities for further professional and personal development.
