Fostering Support Worker – Nottinghamshire


Office base:  Radcliffe on Trent, Nottinghamshire,    Covering: East Midlands region

Salary:  Grade 5-12, £18,000 – £22,443.

Full time – 37.5 hours per week (includes some evening and occasional weekend work)

Regional Foster Placements is a family owned independent fostering agency.   Our aim is to recruit, train and support Foster Carers who provide short and long term care to children and young people who are unable to live with their own families.  The East Midlands team is seeking to recruit a full time Support Worker who will support fostered children and young people on an individual and group basis whilst also supporting the administrative and recruitment functions of the business

To thrive in this role, you’ll need to enjoy working with children and young people, be enthusiastic, flexible and a good communicator.   You will receive training in a variety of direct work interventions as well as ongoing support and regular supervision.     The job will entail variety and no two days will be the same.  It will require the ability to work on your initiative as well as part of a small supportive team and involve travel across a large geographical region.  The right candidate will play an integral part in the future expansion of our fostering team.

  • Experience of children’s social care
  • Marketing experience
