General Social Care Council – The social care workforce regulator in England.  They register social care workers and regulate their conduct and training. You can use this site to check a social workers registration. You can search by name, town where the social care worker is currently employed, or by social care registration number.

The Fostering Network - The Fostering Network is the UK's leading charity for everyone with a personal or professional involvement in fostering.
The organisation aims to ensure the highest standards of care for the 50,000 children and young people living with foster families on any given day in the UK.

The British Association for Adoption & Fostering is the leading UK charity working for children separated from their birth families.
